WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging apps with over 1.2 billion users worldwide.
The messaging service is “enhancing” its user experience with its new business app, in a bid to help companies communicate with customers’.
Since WhatsApp Business is a standalone app, those who run small businesses can keep their current WhatsApp app and conversations completely separate from their customers.
WhatsApp’s COO, Matt Idema, said to Express: “We want to put a basic foundation in place to allow people to message businesses and for them to get the responses that they want.
“We do intend on charging businesses in the future.”
