it was recently announced that Robert Gordon University’s Master’s degree in Cybersecurity was certified by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
Indeed, the University is among one of only three universities in Scotland to receive the certification, showing that the course meets the ‘NCSC Certified Master’s degree in General Cyber Security’ standard. This then allows students that are graduating from this degree to receive a second certificate, issued by the NCSC and the University.
Moreover, the University has extensive engagement with industry and professionals in the design, approval, and delivery of its courses in order to make sure it prepares its students for the future. The students will be able to learn how to design and maintain secure information systems and networks as well as get the necessary knowledge and skills to prevent, and minimize cybersecurity threats.
With the increase in cyberattacks and security concerns, there is a growing need for graduates with cybersecurity expertise. Hence, this cybersecurity degree will provide an essential opportunity for students in Scotland to learn industry-focused skills and expertise.
