Director Test Engineering

Director of Test Engineering for ADP, ESI Division

I have been in the software testing\QA industry for over 20 years in a variety of manual testing and leadership roles, leading teams on and off-shore. I am passionate about delivering quality products and over the years I have seen the evolution of the software development lifecycle and DevOps, forcing testing practises to keep up as increasingly savvy end-users demand more, fast and error free. I believe that the role of the Testing Lead is to clearly communicate risk so that stakeholders are empowered to make informed decisions.

Is manual testing dead?

Abstract: Don’t bury the manual tester just yet. This talk will demonstrate how a UAT team of manual testers elevates our product quality and proves that manual testing can still add cost effective value, if nurtured, supported, trusted and utilised in the right way.
