As Head of QA at GBG, the global identity data specialist, Chirpa leads the group’s team of Quality Assurance Engineers, with team members across the UK, Turkey, Spain, Malaysia and Australia.

Chirpa’s key responsibility is to ensure GBG delivers its identity, anti-fraud and location intelligence solutions at pace for its customers around the world, whilst meeting high quality standards and expectations.

Under Chirpa’s leadership, the global QA team continuously manages best quality practices through embedded processes, clearly defined metrics, and the right automation tools and techniques. As an experienced leader, Chirpa takes deep pride in developing and motivating her team, whilst continually reviewing testing strategies to optimise results for the business.

With over 17 years’ experience spanning technology, science and engineering, Chirpa has a Masters (MSc) in Materials Engineering, from the Indian Institute of Science.


Customer centricity & QA

The relationship between product quality and customer satisfaction has traditionally been one of the hardest things to measure.

While it’s still fairly elusive, review platforms, helpdesk suites and advanced infrastructure monitoring are now making feedback easier to track. The role of the ‘smart tester’ is to represent the customers and customer domains.

Shifting the testing focus to be customer centric and continuously measuring the customer experience identifies the gaps between what you think is a good quality experience and what the customer thinks is excellent.

This talk will focus on the true value of testing: where does it lie? How can we channelize the outcome of efforts invested in building quality into the software deliveries into bringing quality into the organisation?
