Testing your sleep in a safe way

The SleepMapper is a device helping you to have better quality of sleep but it only becomes a real lifechanging device in combination with the accompanying mobile device app. It is just one example in the fast growing range of IoT developments where physical products interact with apps and cloud solutions but it’s also exemplary for the challenges you might be facing. Physical devices are often developed using structured, sequential lifecycle processes while apps and clouds are developed using iterative or Agile methods.

In this workshop we will have a look at how to deal with the different life cycle models within the same project and what it means for your verification activities. But it will also have its impact on defect management, requirements management, release management and, most important, how people deal with trust and confidence. All those aspects will be discussed during the workshop as well.
