I will do a reflection on the outcomes, challenges & lessons learnt from transforming our own quality & testing services in the past two years. This includes:

  • Redefining your strategy and where you want to be
  • Service delivery expansion
  • Offshoring & rebuilding your team culture & brand
  • Going from a team of 8 to a team of 50
  • Integrating with other teams & cultures
  • Skills jump & bringing people along the journey to a 2018 testing world i.e. innovation, use of the crowd, DevOps, continuous integration, cloud
  • Measuring success

Jim has worked at Deloitte for 10.5 years with 7 of those years in Testing. He started his testing career as a Test Analyst and has worked his way up to a Test Manager. Being part of a 50 strong team, Jim manages resources from different geographies, time zones and cultures. Delivering TestingQuality services to IT project and operational teams. He was heavily involved with a transformation project that setup a large offshore team.

Outside of work, Jim is an avid follower of Formula 1 and Rugby.  He is also very passionate about cooking, particularly India food and BBQ’s.
