The journey to Quality Engineering

Aim of presentation is to use the LBG journey to articulate whats required to drive from traditional organisational and delivery methods to facilitate the evolution of a Quality Engineering model, this will include the use of tooling, shift left approaches across all testing phases and the people dimension. Will include the role of quality engineering in the Agile world, the importance of MI and benefits and a focus on leveraging automation.

Allan is currently Quality Engineering Lead at Lloyds Banking Group where he has held multiple senior test and QA roles for the last 15 years. He specialises in all aspects of Quality Engineering from the delivery of major programmes, initiating strategic change and driving organisational transformation. He is passionate about driving change, colleague development and ensuring that Quality Engineering is at the heart of delivery through the adoption of new technologies and methods
