The new study, by BusinessFibre.co.uk, reveals the best programming & coding languages to learn and the best locations in which for coders and programmers to work.
The UK has the largest tech market in the world, representing 31% of the global total. Home to Silicon Valley and home to tech giants, Microsoft, Oracle and IBM, the USA is at the forefront of tech innovation, coming in at third place on the list. Known as a hotbed of talent, the UK digital tech industry is worth nearly £184bn and leads the rest of the world in fintech.
The highest paying coding language to learn in the UK is Elixir with an average salary of £79,000, while the average monthly salary for programmers is just over £2,638.
The Netherlands ranks as the best country for coding and programming jobs closely followed by Ireland in second place and the USA in third place.
The USA has over 123,800 programmers and coders jobs, with Scala coders earning the highest USA average salary of $115,000.
