Edge Testing Solutions joins The Scottish Government’s DPS

Scottish

Edge Testing Solutions, one of the UK’s fastest growing and largest independent software testing companies, has been appointed to The Scottish Government’s new Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).

The appointment to the DPS follows Edge Testing’s placement on other UK government frameworks including the G-Cloud 9 (G9), Digital Outcomes Specialists 2 and the CCS quality assurance and testing frameworks.

The DPS tender has a value of up to £20 million and is intended to provide Scottish public sector organisations with a straightforward, flexible and suitable route to market for the procurement of digital services.

‘Skilled digital resources’

The DPS forms part of The Scottish Government’s broader digital strategy to develop business, infrastructure, and participation. Services within the scope of the DPS range from the delivery of specific digital projects to the provision of skilled digital resources and cyber security.

Now in its 10th year of trading, Edge Testing has seen growth year-on-year and has built an excellent reputation across the public sector, including local and central government and has a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

‘Bringing new opportunities in Scotland’

“We understand that public sector bodies are increasingly under pressure due to digital transformation, and our software testing services can mean the difference between success and failure when launching a new product or service, or moving from legacy technology.

“Through this framework, we hope that more public sector organisations will benefit from our expertise, as we partner with them to ensure that the services they deliver are of the highest quality.”
