According to a CNBC report, Amazon is talking with advertisers and brands Clorox and Procter & Gamble about advertising via its Alexa voice device.
According to TechCrunch, Amazon’s plan is to have brands pay for adverts when consumers are shopping through the personal assistant device.
For example, when users ask for movie times, Alexa adverts could suggest buying relevant tickets via Fandango.
In December, Wired noted some brands are already included on Amazon’s Alexa platform called skills, through third-party apps – where you can order food from Starbucks and other retailers.
